In the quiet town of Woodridge, a small, cherished library has been a haven for book enthusiasts for generations. The heart of the library is its longtime librarian, Eleanor, who has served the community for over fifty years. However, one patron has always remained a mystery – Richard, who borrowed a book in 1977 and hadn't been seen since.

In the winter of 2023, the library's wooden door opens, and Richard, seemingly unchanged by time, returns the book. His ageless appearance astonishes Eleanor, and she is eager to learn about his whereabouts during all these years.
