It's almost the end of Season 2 and both our favorite shows have jam-packed episodes leading to the season finale! Phoebe's "submarine guy" is visiting...but she has chicken pox thanks to Ben; Monica freaks out that Richard doesn't get her quirky cleaning and organizational habits; Chandler offers Joey a temp job at his company, which ends very poorly when Joey invents a new character, "Joseph, the processing guy." It's finally Lily and Marshall's wedding, but everything that could go wrong does: no flowers, no photographer, exes wanting to object during the ceremony, and Marshall contemplating running away to Zihuatanejo to join Andy and Red. Monica plans a fancy birthday for Rachel, complete with flan instead of cake, but it's overpowered by the effects of Rachel's parent's divorce--complete with trying to keep them apart when they both show up for her birthday. OMG, we have just 7 more episodes left in Season 2! This week, we chatted about "The One Where Eddie Moves In" and "Lucky Penny," which both deal with a lot of running--first on BAYWATCH and then Marshall and Barney and the New York City marathon. Joey has officially moved out and Chandler has a "spare room," which is all-too-quickly filled by Eddie (played by the fantastic Adam Goldberg--go watch "Dazed and Confused"!); Ross is a complete ass to Monica and invades her apartment, while also annoying Rachel; and Phoebe thinks she's been discovered by a record label. Ted and Robin need to make a flight to Chicago but are waylaid by the "butterfly effect" of one penny--which actually had physical catastrophes for several members of the gang. Welcome back! We are so lucky to have a guest host this week--all the way from Sweden! Katarina was so awesome to stay up late (a 9-hour time difference) to chat with us about "Monday Night Football" and "The One Where Joey Moves Out". **NOTE: Because of Skype, we had minor sound issues for the first few minutes.** We've celebrated Halloween and Christmas with the HIMYM gang, and now it's time for Ted's favorite holiday: the Super Bowl. And once again, he "Ted's Out" and stresses everyone else out too. But we get some great lines AND the Sensory Deprivator 5000--which should be mass produced! Joey is finally making money on DOOL and decided it might be time for him to move out. But not before challenging standard social norms and making the rest of us wonder about sharing soap.
