Where to Fly Into: The closest major airports to Moab are the Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) if you start with Arches and Canyonlands. The closest airports to Zion are Zion are Harry Reid International Airport in LAS and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). If you plan to fly in and out out of same airport, we'd recommend Salt Lake City International Airport.
