Behind the Trivia: James Hong

On today’s special episode of Behind The Trivia we are honored to welcome actor James Hong. With over 500 credits to his name, James is one of the hardest working actors in show business with roles dating back to the 1950’s. From his feature film roles in Big Trouble in Little China, Blade Runner, Chinatown, Airplane!, Wayne’s World 2 and more…to his memorable voice work in Disney’s Mulan, the Kung Fu Panda series, and various video game franchises, it’s hard to create a “Best of” list as he’s done so much and continues to work to this day. He’s also our second Seinfeld alum, as he portrayed Bruce, the host of the Chinese restaurant in the now famous single location episode. Wherever you might recognize him from, it’s safe to say that he is the epitome of our favorite actors where we go, “I know him from something…” Join our hosts as they dig deep with James from the beginning of his career, and listen as he pays respect to his loyal fans, details some fun behind-the-scenes trivia, talks about his work in the theatre world and joins all of us in a call to action to get him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which is severely lacking in Asian-American representation.
