What a charming chap musician Jack Savoretti is! When I started Crazy Sexy Food, I wrote a list of dream guests I’d love to have on. If you’d seen it, you would have laughed and told me “Yeah Right!”.So, when I got the call a couple weeks ago that Nobu Matsuhisa was in town to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Nobu London Park Lane, and he was doing a select number of interviews and that CSF was in the running I could not believe it!But here we are. And here I was, in this episode, sitting down with the man himself discussing his life in food, dealing with childhood trauma, setting up his business 50 years ago and his meeting with Robert De Niro.Nobu is a gentle but very fun man. He was so incredibly open and hospitable; this really has been the greatest honour. He eloquently discussed the hardships in his life, namely when one of his restaurants burnt down and he lost everything. I am FINALLY joined by my first world champion boxer this week! This week I have a true showbiz superstar joining me, Mr Martin Kemp!
