This week the powerhouse that is Clare Smyth MBE, joins me in my humble kitchen to talk all about being a Michelin starred chef, running 2 restaurants on opposite sides of the world and what it’s really like for a female chef in the restaurant industry.

This was a real honour for me and I was definitely fan girl-ing! Clare is the only female chef in the UK with 3 Michelin stars and is a fierce, fabulous woman in what has been a very male dominated industry.

It was so interesting getting into the mind of a chef; how she approaches her work, how she supports her staff and the food she creates.

I was incredibly lucky to get to her restaurant, Core, after filming this episode and I can honestly tell you it was one of the most memorable and delicious food experiences of my entire life. The woman is a maestro and I am a huge fan!
