Best Nutrients to Remove Plaque from Arteries

Best Nutrients to Remove Plaque from Arteries

In this video, I'm going to share what you can do to help remove plaque from your arteries naturally. Plaque is made of cholesterol, calcium, and protein. These 3 ingredients form a band-aid if you have inflammation or other issues on the inside of your artery.

There are 2 types of plaque: soft plaque (unstable, dangerous) and hard plaque (calcified, stable, less dangerous). Soft plaque is 4 times as common as calcified plaque!

A CAC test gives you a score of how much plaque you have in your arteries. This test primarily detects calcified plaque, so the score usually won’t reflect soft plaque.

The CAC paradox is a phenomenon that occurs after you clean up your diet and get healthy, but your CAC score rises. This doesn't mean your plaque is getting worse. It means that some of your soft plaque has stabilized and become hard plaque.

Soft plaque is associated with glycation and more oxidation of the LDL. There are 2 types of LDL: small-dense pathogenic LDL and large-buoyant non-pathogenic LDL.

Myeloperoxidase and Lp-PLA2 both signify soft plaque on a blood test. An ultrasound can also detect soft plaque.

Higher HDL can help clean up pathogenic bad LDL. You also want to keep your triglycerides low. High triglycerides can signify that your diet is too high in carbs. You may want to request to test your lipoprotein insulin resistance. This factor is associated with cardiovascular atherosclerosis more than any other.

Here’s how to determine whether you have small dense LDL or large buoyant LDL. Divide the LDL by ApoB—the part of the lipoprotein that indicates the number of particles. You want your result to be greater than 1.2. This indicates large buoyant LDL.

The following nutrients may help remove arterial plaque buildup naturally:

1. Pycnogenol–150 mg

2. Gotu Kola–450 mg

3. Vitamin K2–Life Extension Mega K2

4. Nattokinase

5. Niacin

Vitamin K2 is the most potent inhibitor of vascular calcification. Tocotrienols, berberine, aged garlic, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin D also help to clean out plaque naturally.

How to Burn Fat–Dr. Berg Explains

How to Burn Fat–Dr. Berg Explains

In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the hormones that affect fat burning and fat storage. Insulin is one of the most important hormones related to fat burning. It’s produced in the pancreas and tells your body to store fat. You can not burn fat if insulin is too high. Aim for less than 50 grams of carbs per day to avoid spiking insulin. Intermittent fasting can also help prevent insulin spikes. Seed oils and modified food starches like MSG trigger insulin and inflammation and should be avoided. To help lower insulin, do the following: 1. Lower your carbohydrate intake 2. Do intermittent fasting 3. Drink apple cider vinegar with water 4. Consume berberine and cinnamon Estrogen and cortisol can also cause your body to store fat. To lower estrogen, avoid synthetic hormones and chemicals in your environment. Choose organic foods to avoid pesticides and herbicides that mimic estrogen in the body. To minimize cortisol, focus on stress reduction. Physical activity like housework, long walks, or exercise can get your mind off of stress. Vitamin B1 and vitamin D are also very important for keeping cortisol levels low. Growth hormone and IGF-1 (Insulin-like growth factor 1) are the main hormones involved in fat burning. Intense exercise, good sleep habits, moderate protein intake, and intermittent fasting trigger growth hormone and IGF-1. Sprinting is one of the best workouts to trigger these hormones to burn fat. Testosterone, glucagon, thyroid hormone (T3), and adrenaline are also important for fat-burning. To boost testosterone naturally, ensure that you’re consuming foods high in zinc and make sure you’re getting enough cholesterol. Exercise is important, but only contributes to about 15% of your overall weight loss. Exercise can lower stress, improve sleep, and also trigger glucagon and adrenaline.

The #1 Fattest Country in the World

The #1 Fattest Country in the World

Today we’re going to talk about the fattest country in the world. In this country, the average person weighs 225 pounds. This country also has the highest rate of diabetes. Nauru, a small island in the South Pacific with a population of 11,000, is the fattest country in the world. The island of Nauru was a rich source of phosphate and quickly became one of the richest countries in the world. When all of the phosphate was depleted from the land, the country went into a deep state of poverty where it has remained ever since. Nauru’s obesity rate went from 2% to 61%. This was caused by the shift from a traditional diet of fish, coconuts, fruits, vegetables, taro, palm oil, and coconut oil without any grains or seed oils to a Westernized diet of processed foods. Nauru’s soils have been depleted, so they’re no good for growing food. Over 40% of the marine life has been destroyed by pollution, and nearly 100% of the food is imported. Even water must be imported into Nauru. Ultra-processed foods typically contain the following three types of ingredients that can cause many consequences for your health: 1. Artificial starches: Modified food starch, modified corn starch, maltodextrin 2. Synthetic sugars: Corn syrup, glucose syrup 3. Highly inflammatory seed oils: Corn, cottonseed, canola, soy, and safflower oils Seed oils are the only trending item that parallels obesity, even more than sugar! They create nutritional deficiencies, inflammation, and cause you to feel hungry after eating.

What to Drink When Fasting: Dr. Berg Guide

What to Drink When Fasting: Dr. Berg Guide

In this podcast, we’re going to talk about what to drink while fasting. Water won’t kick you out of ketosis, but water quality varies greatly. Tap water is generally pretty toxic, and plastic water bottles contain microplastics. Glass water bottles are a better option, but they can be costly. Canned water often contains BPA. Unless you have access to a well or spring water, a water filter is best. Crystal Quest water filters are cost-efficient and work well. Some people find that they feel more hydrated after drinking carbonated water. Carbonated water contains carbon dioxide, which helps drive oxygen into your tissues. Carbonated water is also slightly more acidic, which may be helpful for digestion. You can add apple cider vinegar to your water to increase energy, help with insulin resistance, improve mitochondrial function, and help improve a fatty liver. While fasting, you can also add electrolyte powder or sea salt to your water. If you’re doing one meal a day, it's especially important you’re getting enough salt. Stevia is fine on keto, but oftentimes, you’ll see maltodextrin added to stevia-sweetened beverages. Keto-friendly sweeteners that will not kick you out of ketosis include erythritol, monk fruit, and stevia. You can drink coffee without sugar while fasting—just be careful not to overdo it with caffeine. Try using heavy cream for your coffee rather than half-and-half. Bulletproof coffee involves adding coconut oil, MCT oil, or butter to your coffee. For some people, this can hinder weight loss. Tea is also fine while fasting. Coffee and tea can sometimes deplete vitamin B1. If this happens to you, simply supplement vitamin B1 and decrease your consumption of coffee and tea. Most people can not consume coconut water while fasting due to its sugar content. Alcohol kicks you out of ketosis and autophagy. Kombucha is okay in small amounts, but don’t consume too much because it is high in sugar. Shakes or smoothies are fine on keto but can inhibit fasting because of the calories. Smoothies are better consumed closer to a meal, not while you’re fasting.

The Healthiest Foods You Need in Your Diet

The Healthiest Foods You Need in Your Diet

In this podcast, we’re going to talk about the healthiest foods and some of the unhealthiest foods. Food is defined as that which is eaten to sustain life, provide energy, and promote the growth and repair of tissues. By this definition, everything we eat should not be defined as food! Ultra-processed foods do not sustain life, provide energy, or promote the growth of tissues. Ultra-processed foods, also known as junk foods, create the most disease. Ultra-processed foods can be described as foods that have been altered in an extreme way, either chemically, mechanically, or with heat. These “foods” should be completely eliminated from the diet. Foods like Doritos are packed full of chemically altered GMO ingredients. They contain large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids and are shelf-stable for long periods of time. Ultra-processed foods often contain three main ingredients: synthetic sugars, synthetic starches, and synthetic seed oils. Avoid these ingredients. Here are the 8 healthiest foods: 1. Red meat–Grass-fed, grass-finished beef is excellent for your health and is one of the highest sources of glutamine. 2. Wild-caught fatty fish–Salmon and other fatty fish are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. 3. Shellfish–Shrimp, clams, mussels, and other shellfish contain omega-3s, but they’re also a rich source of trace minerals. Oysters are one of the best sources of zinc. 4. Eggs–Choose organic pasture-raised eggs. 5. Fermented vegetables–Sauerkraut and kimchi are excellent sources of probiotics and vitamin C. 6. Leafy greens–Arugula, spinach, and high-quality lettuce contain folate, vitamin C, magnesium, and potassium. Consuming dairy with spinach can reduce oxalates. 7. Organ meats–Beef liver, cod liver, and other organ meats are rich in many vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals. 8. Herbs and spices–Garlic, onion, sage, thyme, sea salt, basil, and cinnamon all have unique properties and important health benefits.

How to ruin your health

How to ruin your health

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find good information on how to support a healthy body. Sifting through the various ideas on health and wellness can be overwhelming, and many suggestions are outdated at best—and deadly at worst. If you want to ruin your health, common health advice like eating everything in moderation or having multiple small meals a day are good places to start. If you want to take back your health—if you want to know how to thrive and not just (barely) survive, you’ve made it to the right place. In my videos, articles, books, and many other resources, I don’t just focus on weight loss. I promote a healthy, natural way of supporting the body and taking your well-being to the next level. Remember, it’s not "lose weight to get healthy." It’s "get healthy to lose weight."

The Silent Signs of Dementia: Watch Out for These 10 Warning Signs

The Silent Signs of Dementia: Watch Out for These 10 Warning Signs

In this podcast, we’re going to look at some of the signs and causes of dementia and things you can do to combat dementia. The first sign of dementia can occur as early as ten years before you have any cognitive changes. It takes many years for dementia to develop, and sensory changes that involve the loss of smell and vision often occur well before any other symptoms. Here are 10 of the most common early signs of dementia: 1. Sensory problems (loss of smell) 2. Sensory problems (vision) 3. Sleeping problems 4. Agitation/Low tolerance to stress 5. Restlessness 6. Aggression 7. Memory issues 8. Emotional drop (depression, anxiety, lack of emotion) 9. Incontinence 10. Constipation Memory issues can show up as an inability to recognize the time on a clock, mixing up words, lagging before answering questions, loss of spatial recognition, and lack of focus or concentration. Chronic inflammation and insulin resistance are often seen in people who have dementia. Insulin resistance deprives the nerve cells of fuel, which is why Alzheimer's is commonly referred to as type 3 diabetes. Chronic inflammation can be caused by poor diet and consuming refined sugars, refined starches, and refined oils. Head trauma, heavy metals, infection, and high blood pressure can also contribute to dementia. So, what can you do? Here are 11 ways to effectively combat dementia: 1. Exercise 2. Have good sleep habits 3. Get on the Healthy Keto Diet 4. Do intermittent fasting and periodic prolonged fasting 5. Increase omega-3 fatty acids 6. Increase intake of B vitamins 7. Increase vitamin D 8. Try using a sauna 9. Take resveratrol and NAD 10. Consume probiotics 11. Try cold therapy DATA: https://www.omicsonline.org/open-acce... https://aparadiseforparents.com/ https://www.sciencedirect.com/science...

The Ultimate Natural Antibiotic Drink (Home Remedy Formula)

The Ultimate Natural Antibiotic Drink (Home Remedy Formula)

In this podcast, I’m going to share a recipe for a powerful, natural antibiotic drink that you can make at home. The overuse of antibiotics is a major issue in the United States. Overuse of antibiotics leads to antibiotic resistance. This means that the microbes that are not killed by the antibiotics become stronger and resistant. When you take antibiotics again, they don’t work as well anymore. Antibiotics do not kill yeast or viruses, but they do kill good microbes that keep the yeast at bay. This is why a common side effect of antibiotics is an overgrowth of candida or yeast. Weaker antibiotics like penicillin and tetracycline work by slowing the growth of microbial reproduction. Stronger antibiotics like Cipro and Levaquin come with strong side effects and a black box warning. If you have to take stronger antibiotics, always take magnesium, vitamin E, and probiotics along with them. After taking antibiotics, it could take weeks or even years to get your original microbes back. Because 80% of your immune system is your microbiome, this can have detrimental effects on your natural immunity. Antibiotics naturally come from molds and other microorganisms found in the soil. These natural compounds have anti-inflammatory effects, antimicrobial effects, anti-diabetic effects, and anticancer effects. Here is the recipe for a natural antibiotic drink that should be taken at the first sign of a cough or illness: •3 cloves garlic •90 drops Echinacea extract •1 whole organic lemon (peel included) •1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar •1 tablespoon raw honey •16 ounces water Blend all ingredients for about 45 seconds. Drink ⅓ of the mixture 3 times per day. If you’re in the middle of an infection, do this for the duration of the infection. You should notice a diminishing of symptoms, and you should sleep better. Also, take 50,000 IUs of vitamin D3 and 100 to 150 mg of zinc to boost your immune system.
