Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck
=======================
I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning tarot, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. About Carrie and @QuickLearnQuests
===============================
I have been reading tarot cards for 30 years for fun. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet.

Here is the transcript:

Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot if you would like to view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Five of Cups, focusing on reversals. First, let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then the meaning when reversed.

The Five of Cups upright often symbolizes grief, regret, and focusing on the loss itself. It's a card that reflects sorrow and disappointment as the figure mourns over spilled cups.

When reversed, it suggests a shift from dwelling on the past to moving forward with resilience and renewed hope. It indicates that you are beginning to see the silver linings or new opportunities that arise even after experiencing setbacks.

The reversed Five of Cups represents a turning point where healing and acceptance begin. You may be letting go of past hurts, releasing regrets, or embracing the future with optimism.

When the Five of Cups reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that healing is underway. You're starting to let go of grief or regrets, and you feel a sense of emotional relief as you shift your focus from the past to the present. This card reminds you that it's okay to release what no longer serves you and to allow yourself to move on.

It may also indicate reconciliation or forgiveness. You might be mending a relationship or finding closure in a difficult situation, leading to greater emotional freedom. The reversed Five of Cups encourages you to open your heart to new possibilities and relationships rather than remaining stuck in old wounds.

Let's discuss ways to memorize the Five of Cups Reversed. It is helpful to think of a situation in my life that I can relate to the card. For example, my reversed Five of Cups moment was recovering from a heartbreak, which most of us can relate to. It was a big lesson learned for me in this particular relationship. I almost always dated nice guys, and I got swept away by a womanizer who knew all the right things to say and do to make me feel like I was the only woman in the world. It ended as quickly as it started, and I was surprised and devastated. I was stuck in the five of cups energy for months. I remember when the fog started to clear. I found myself less concerned with why he left, and more concerned about getting on with my life.

This card reminds us that healing is possible and that hope and renewal are within reach even after loss.

Remember, the key to mastering tarot is practice. As you continue to listen to these three-minute lessons, the cards' symbolism will become more ingrained in your memory. Thank you for tuning in. Keep practicing and join us for more three-minute lessons to memorize more cards. Your dedication will surely pay off.
