Nardo Wick is a rapper from Jacksonville, Florida and is our guest today. He comes in on the heels of a controversial clip that went viral from another podcast where he stated his mentality while younger was 'Why Get a Job When I can just rob someone'. He clarifies what he meant in this episode with Akademiks. He talks about watching his mom go to jail, people cook crack around him and also him sleeping on the ground trying to make ends meet. He talks about being in the streets lead him to rapping and then figuring out when he was getting some traction to the moves he made afterwards.
