This interview was recorded with Zeerak speaking from Brooklyn, NY and gives some context to the music of Slowspin while also giving cultural context of understanding the non western roots of improvisation practices that shape a lot of Zeerak's musical practice. Also we hear about how stories, cultures and identities from the global south work to carry anti colonial stories and lift up voices from places in the world experiencing the violence of colonization, like Palestine.
