We are super buzzing about getting this episode to your earholes! Why (we hear you holla)? Because this one is a all about the fascinating subject of trust based grooming. We are thrilled to be joined by the wonderful Sue Williamson to talk all about her book "Taking The Grrr Out Of Grooming". This incredible book gives you all the knowledge you'll need to start introducing a kinder a more "dog-centric" grooming regime, as well as giving you the practical skills to overcome some of those grooming/handling issues.

Sue Facts!

Sue is an experience dog guardian having living with many dogs in her life, including poodles, cocker spaniels, Labradors and a collie cross. She currently lives in Leicestershire with her husband, Paul, and cocker spaniels Taz & Talis and miniature poodles Chic & Ritzi.
Sue's day job is a dog groomer specialising in dogs with grooming anxieties incorporating all her canine knowledge to make the experience less stressful. Sue has a salon Diploma in Dog Grooming, ISCP Diploma in Canine Behaviour, Low Stress Handling Silver Certification©. She is also and Animal Centred Education Advanced Tutor, Tellington Touch Training Practitioner P2, Canine Practitioner Level 2, and an Approved Instructor for Kids Around Dogs.
Sue has combined her grooming and behaviour knowledge to publish two books, Taking the Grrr out of the Grooming Salon and Taking the Grrr out of Grooming Your Dogs, and runs a supporting Facebook Group Taking the Grrr out of Grooming Dogs, which is for both guardians and professional groomers to seek support and advice.
In addition to grooming, Sue enjoys training puppies, working on behaviour cases and learning as much as she can about dogs through study and attending workshops, seminars and conferences.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time with her dogs away in her touring caravan, and has recently taken up Hoopers with her younger dogs.
