His areas of expertise encompass Nutritional Ketosis, Sports Performance, Sports Nutrition, and Exercise Physiology. Dr. Prins' research primarily focuses on the multisystem response to exercise, both with and without ergogenic aids, exploring health and human performance parameters. He delves specifically into the practical impacts of lifestyle on metabolism and its subsequent effects on health, disease, and performance outcomes. He emphasizes the implementation of nutritional ketosis and metabolic health modulators across diverse populations. A mentor to numerous student research projects, Dr. Prins has also authored and published several manuscripts and abstracts in the realms of sports nutrition, supplementation, and human performance.
