Philip Weiss - Apprise Wealth | Financial Role Models

Successful financial management is not only about picking the right investments, it can also be about overcoming poor role models in your life. Phil Weiss and I sat down to discuss how he took action to avoid following in his father's financial footsteps. He shared great tips on getting rid of credit card debt, how his accounting training helps to identify the numbers that matter in company financials, the stocks that he's held onto for over 25 years, how value investing has changed, and his client who bought $300 worth of Apple stock soon after listing which has now grown to 2,100 shares. Not a bad return for doing nothing for 40 years. Phil also spoke about the Triple-Tax-Free Retirement Benefits of a Health Savings Account.
