In Canada, we got to see it all this week. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party pledged to phase out netpen salmon farming by 2025, and move to closed-containment systems. On the other coast, the political climate is more welcoming. Finally, Canadian wild salmon has given up its Marine Stewardship Council certification.
