Californiaaaa, here we come!!! In 2003, audiences were first introduced to emo-nerd Seth Cohen and popular girl Summer Roberts on the teen show The OC. While their characters fell in love, co-stars Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson were falling for each other too, and began dating off-screen.

But who were Adam and Rachel really? Rachel has described Adam’s humor as “dickish” upon first meeting him, and also expressed feeling jealous towards others that were crushing on him.

As the OC went on, Adam lost interest in the show—did he simply lose interest in their relationship too? What happened?
