How to Flavor with Pritesh Mody, World of Zing

Welcome to Lush Life Season 6.

Today we’re starting our How to Drink season by talking about the most subjective of topics: flavor. What you might like, I might hate, and vice versa. So, how do you even begin talking about flavor? By inviting the King of Zing on the program!

I’m Susan Schwartz, your drinking companion, and this is, Lush Life Podcast, every week we are inspired to live life one cocktail at a time.

As the founder of World of Zing, Pritesh Mody is renowned as one of the UK’s leading drinks experts. If you haven’t tried one of his bottled cocktails yet, you are in for such a treat. He adds that special something to a cocktail to make it sing, or should I say zing.

He was the obvious choice to start off my new season. Who better to talk about flavor with me?

We had to pick Pritesh’s favorite cocktail, the Margarita, for our Cocktail of the Week, but remember to add his bit of ZIng!

INGREDIENTS

2 oz Tequila
1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup

METHOD

Add tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup to shaker
Add ice and shake until chilled
Strain into a Margarita glass with ice or without!

If you want to make it a bit more flavorful - Pritesh says to add a bit of nori!
