How to Drink Italicus with Giuseppe Gallo

Now he’s masterminded the creation of Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto from a historical Italian recipe that hadn’t been consumed for almost 100 years.

Today I sit down with him to have a deep dive into what Italicus tastes like, how to use it to make incredible cocktails, and how he created a spirit that every Italian can be proud of.

INGREDIENTS

• 50ml Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto
• 50ml Prosecco
• 3 green olives

METHOD

• Add the Italicus to a wine glass filled with ice
• Top up with Prosecco
• Garnish with the three olives (or as Giuseppe suggested, put one olive in your mouth and take a sip and then repeat 2 more times.)
