We are right, however, to slow down and wonder why it is advancing so fast, who has a stake in it, and what we can do to correct its course if necessary. Most importantly, what happens when AI begins to think on its own and becomes self-aware? Some leaders speak of the potential of machine learning (ML) & artificial intelligence (AI), and how it’s nothing short of miraculous, but could the blessing be a curse? But as the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility.
