50. An Angel Visits Mary (Luke 1:26 – 38) / Un Ángel Visita María (Lucas 1:26 – 38)

Hello everybody, welcome to the Podcast Stories of the Bible in English and Spanish. Today I am going to talk about an Angel and Mary, a story that you can find in the Book of Luke, chapter 1 verse 26 to verse 38.

So, let´s start with the episode. First, I will share with you some vocabulary that we will use in the story, and then I will read the story in English and Spanish.

Historia:

God sent the angel Gabriel to visit a young woman. Her name was Mary. She was scared. She had never seen an angel before.

Gabriel said, «Dont be afraid. You are very special to God. You will become pregnant and give birth to a son. You must name him Jesus. He will be called the Son of the Most High God.»

Mary asked, «How can it be so? I am not married».

Gabriel answered, «With God, all things are possible»

Mary said, «I love God, I will do what he has chosen me to do».
