So a frustrating game as we see the play offs become a less distinct possibility as every game slips past us we ask - would you take missing out on the play offs if it meant winning the double over "them up the road"? And then we look back at Wilders first three games and ask would you be happy if we appointed him as a two year head coach role? Pete parks the "ParlaciGino" stuff (untilt he start of Part Two - boy is that a rant!) but Carl comes on and starts going off about it until he finally comes up with a serving suggestion for toast that really no one wants to know about. Peter geographically locates Alan with such accuracy that it makes Alan feel quite uneasy but Alan recovers to point out that todays referee takes the title of worst official at Watford this seasons!!! PART TWO. We carry on with the calls after the win over Birmingham, we get corrections on our bad Italian pronunciation from Jimmy Pesto (Chris) around the #Parlaci Gino and we promptly promoted him to head of swearing for DNSYE (how we had survived without this appointment up til now astonishes me!), Alan gave us a damning critique of Sky's Red Button commentary including anger inducing commentary remarks about (the lack of) replays!! We start to cover the 5 word reviews and then we joined by Pete Fincham with the tale of his evening, his daughter Grace's 18th birthday and some heart rending but joyous comments about the nature of the club, the community and what it all means. He left many of us in tears. Then we went to Uncle Ron who compared Chris Wilder to Michael Caine in the bathroom scene in Escape to Victory! 72 hours on from a disastrous performance Chris Wilder made some changes which were in part forced but the performance we saw was one to warm the cockles! Not perfect but a seismic leap from the weekend. That being said we are determined to yes enjoy the result and the performance but also to acknowledge the troubles that the club still has. As we look to welcome back two former Hornets captains in legendary talisman Troy Deeney and inspirational John Eustace with Birmingham City we speak to Zac from Blues Focus Podcast about how they are getting on at St Andrews.
