We find out how the Tigers are getting on building under Liam Rosenior and we find out there are other forwards in the Championship who resemble a certain Danish forward! The prediction league goes all cock-eyed again as John reveals a better and poetic dislike of Hull and Jarvis buys a tombola (which Carl wants him docked points for)! TWITTER SPACE - PART 2 LEICESTER 2 - 0 WATFORD
With twitter acting up and Pete's wifi disappearing every 2 minutes here is the second half edit of the fan reaction after the Leicester game which saw a battling defensive display for 75 minutes and then chickens coming home to roost as Dan Bachmann was sent off for a second yellow bringing Jamie Vardy for the penalty that saw the score finish 2-0. A debate then ensues over Dans first yellow card and the difficulties for a goalkeeping captain being booked (his first one) for running out of his goal to remonstrate with the ref (which he has to do as only the captain can approach the ref and he's a goalkeeper in the penalty area!!). Anyway we pick over those pieces and more - edited to try and remove some of rubbish that even for us was below par as Pete cant hear anyone most of the time!!! Phillip of Leicester Fan TV joins us for the first time to discuss our trip to the King Power on Saturday!! We find out about Leicester’s season post relegation from the Premier League (which Phillip is still quite rightly not happy about), another former Pep Guardiola assistant in the hot seat at the foxes we hear about how Maresca has got on and what the Foxes fans think, recruitment after the inevitable departures are covered including Hemel Hempstead born Harry Winks, and we cover two Leicester player who had loan spells at the Hornets and Mordor FC respectively one of whom had massive hair!! We hear how Leicester have been setting up in terms of system with a lot of possession and heavy on ball retention which Phillip has found frustrating on occasions, we discuss Everton’s 10 point deduction for Profit and Sustainability rules being broken and Phillip seems fairly magnanimous about it all but asks, quite rightly, about the Premier Leagues approach to financial fair play – preventing Pete from having another rant at the football authorities (for once). Carl looks forward to Man City appearing in the Northern League at some stage. Pete asks about Nigel Pearsons forearms and winning the Premier League, the tragic loss of their owner, an incredibly poignant 1881 banner moment and how the FFP rules seem to be to try to stop another team outside the top six/seven to repeat their success. The Prediction League sees Pete fail to control the proceedings per normal, John does some drawing (Badly Drawn Watford now has a copycat with felt tip pens!!!) as his printer isn’t working and then goes to the pub, Ben and Jarvis make a trip to a local football ground, Phillip tries to make a draw prediction but is unreasonably prevented from doing so!
