PART TWO Ian joins us having enjoyed the game and hails TDB as MOTM but thinks overall – we got away with one there. Rajovic potential is agreed with. Chris joins us and feels we had a “big Ken shaped hole” in the team and squad. We talk about the team never putting the ball over the top because there seem to be no runners from midfield looking to run beyond the central forward. Chris feels guilty about calling Rajovic out when not scoring and we wonder if the management can develop those other parts that are missing from his game in open play outside the box – fingers crossed! Maximillian Sam joins us from Turkey, and we cover amongst other things turtles, Besiktas and Turkish supporters’ intensity. Pete tries to press gang Chris into being the DNSYE Turkish ambassador, but this role might be going to an attractive Besiktas supporter (this is a level of shallow we at DNSYE are happy to co-operate with). Mal isn’t feeling well and compares himself to our first half and warns us that we need to defend better when it comes to QPR next weekend. Neil joins us with news that the 321 bus now meanders apparently. The half time turn around seems to have been inspired by some Mica Paris lyrics before putting his money where his mouth is and offering to pay for Uncle Ron’s air and match ticket to come and watch Morris at the ground to see how good he is.
