We get a chance to chat with former Watford player, coach, interim and permanent manager - Malky MacKay!!! Now Sporting Director at Hibernian he provides a unique perspective at the looking at football and our football club from a number of different but all informed perspectives. We find out about Queens Park, Malky MacKay Senior who has a story so solid it was launched as a book this week which may or may not have had Irn Bru available at the bar! We go through Malky's early playing days for the spiders some of the characters there, whilst working at Bank of Scotland before his move to Celtic, we find out about the highs and lows of the Auld Firm Derby, the culture clash of moving to Norwich, getting promoted and then being sent to Coventry before ending up at West Ham to be promoted for a second time! We hear how a "a guy from little Watford" who kept pestering Alan Pardew to get Malky to Watford!! (Spolier alert - he signs!). Malky recalls the environment where if money was short - the environment was certainly rich! We start off the usual 1-10 nonsense with a selection of players and coaches from Malky's time at the Vic and elsewhere and sees some special stories and memories and Carlos puts on a bet for a closed season transfer!!
