Justin and Pete get to meet Ann Swanson, in her seat, in her stand. The lady that was the driving force behind Graham's vision of the family club by establishing the Junior Hornets in the early 1980's is back at the club - and the club is better off for it. We chat about the old days and the new era for the Junior Hornets, we hear tales about Ian Bolton and Steve Sherwood and the way that the modern football world makes it harder to do now, what was done in the 1980's but there appears to be no lack of trying. We hear that Rob Edwards short reign might have a legacy on match days and how Ann how Ann was introduced to the Aldershot chairman - but the thing that gives Ann the most joy is in trying to get us back to or continue to be "the Family Club". This lady has created such a legacy that it will be difficult to match moving forward but it is great that she is involved in helping Barry, Phil and Chris to try to do just that. COYH!! Well, the big news was that at one point a seagull flew across the pitch!!! Really it was!!! A dull 0-0 game before breaking for the least anticipated and most controversial World Cup - but despite this we had a good and lively debate. Pete asked what motivational or tactical innovations people would make if they were Bilic for 30 seconds (or half a minute for Rich). We found that Uncle Ron has a pool, but he wasn't reclining by it. We discovered Greg was wandering around Bristol trying to find his car and Brett fresh from his Blue Cheese episodes had been Jazz Drumming (which we really hope isn't a euphemism). Loads of great calls, commenters and reviewers offered a balanced view on proceedings - even if the game had been rubbish. Oh, and we have badges - so if you see us ask for one and if we have one - it's yours. Oh and did we mention that seagull? We did! Well, it was that kind of afternoon!
