Dr. Russell Kennedy and I talk about where our anxiety REALLY likes to hang out - in our body. Then, when we're triggered by stress or uncertainty, our anxiety (or A.L.A.R.M. as he calls it) travels from our body to our brain and gives us racing thoughts and worries. Dr. Russ (aka the Anxiety M.D.) and I have both helped people grow stronger and more resilient, despite anxiety, adversity and trauma. I worked as a trauma-informed public school teacher and Resilience Coach for 10 years. Dr. Russ is an expert neuroscientist and M.D. and we are so lucky to have him on the show! I open up about my racing thoughts. The doctor is IN and he's got answers to my questions!
