As the daughter of an Ecuadorian mother and a Jewish-American father who were educators and champions of the civil rights movement, Naomi Raquel Enright grew up with a passion to challenge oppressive systems. As a twenty-five-year old she aspired to be a lawyer. But throughout the years, she has fought for equity through her writing, educational work, and most importantly, by embracing her identity.

In this episode, Naomi Raquel spoke about the ups and downs that have led her to become the woman she is today, as well as:

Growing up as a multiethnic woman in the United States

Dealing with grief through writing
