Nancy Pelosi Is seeking another term to Congress in '2022 November Midterm Elections

Nancy Pelosi announced today that she will run for re-election in the House of Representatives during this year's Midterm Elections. Pelosi, as you might remember was first elected to Congress way back in 1987 through a special Congressional election for a House of Representatives seat that was open then. The question after hearing her announce this political news is will she vie for a leadership position if the Republicans win back the Majority of the House chamber during this year's elections? Even if the Republicans are back in power of the Majority of the House of Representatives next year, will a politician such as Pelosi want to still be a top Democrat in the Minority leadership when the next session of Congress in January '2023 starts. Pelosi might not want to be elected to a Minority leadership spot if the Republicans win back the Majority in the House chamber this year.
