Nancy Pelosi will not be in a House of Representatives leadership role following the 2022' Midterm elections

Today's House Speaker Nancy pelosi announced on November 17th, 2022 in a speech on the House of Representatives floor that she is not seeking re-election to a leadership role in the house chamber of Congress. She will be allowing a new generation of Democrats to lead the Democratic Representatives in the house chamber for future generations to come. Pelosi has served as House minority whip, House minority leader, and Speaker of the House in multiple non-consecutive terms when being serving as Speaker of the House. If anything, she has always been a force to wrecken with in politics metaphorically of course. She might eventually retire from Congress, therefore letting a new person represent her San Francisco House Congressional district. But that's not quite happening yet. Pelosi is a great highly respected figure of American Politics, even though she can be divisive to some in America.
