Mark Pukita is an resident of Ohio who ran in the 2022 Ohio U.S. Senate Republican Primary race to replace retiring Former Ohio Senator Rob Portman. Pukita ultimately lost in the 2022 May primary to the current first term U.S. Senator J.D. Vance. He has his own political activity or political action group called The Grassroots Freedom Initiative.
