60: How To Produce A Magic Show with Sara Crasson (Part 1 of 4)

Lawyer and magician Sara Crasson talks about Flavors of Magic, the virtual magic show she created in 2020 to highlight the diversity of the magic community. This is the first of four episodes following Flavors of Magic as it develops from a virtual event to an in-person live production.

Sara is a Law Clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice. Previously she worked in private practice at Mintz Levin and the Pillsbury law firm covering intellectual property disputes. Sara is the official “Resourceress” of the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.), the world’s oldest international magicians’ organization, and sits on their Ethics Committee. Sara also produces “Flavors of Magic,” a show that highlights the diversity of the magic community.
Sara is the author of Own Your Magic: A Magician’s Guide to Protecting Your Intellectual Property. The New York Law Journal called her “the leading authority on how IP law applies to magic.”
