98: Can Anybody Beat the Market? - Q4 Update of the Artistic Finance 6k

A year end review of the Artistic Finance 6k--our $6,000 investment. We’ve gathered a bond investment CEO, a data analyst, and two lighting designers to compare how our investments compare to the market (aka the S&P 500). We discuss: ⭐️ The current shaky market ⭐️ Holding investments for a year ⭐️ Next steps for this investment experiment

Takeaways:

⭐️ Ethan is going to HOLD all investments

⭐️ Ethan needs to reinvest the $56 REIT dividends

⭐️ We will have 3 other investments to track - one is I-Bonds

⭐️ All guests are roughly mid 30s. Thoughts might be different if we were mid 20s or mid 60s.

The Artistic Finance Investment Strategy: ⭐️ Half high risk ⭐️ Half dividends ⭐️ Money that can be lost ⭐️ Diversified asset classes ⭐️ Only sell one year and one day after purchase ⭐️ Choose based on what smarter investors are choosing Our superstar guest panel is: ⭐️ Maithreyi Gopalakrishnan, CEO of LidquidiFi ⭐️ Ebony Madry, lighting designer and project manager ⭐️ Katie Buhrman, a leader in data and analytics
