The New Jersey Devils defeated the Florida Panthers for the second time in three days. The game was once again a physical contest and New Jersey prevailed. Considering the fact that the Panthers are the defending champions and also first in the Atlantic, this was definitely a statement victory. Jesper Bratt recorded a hat trick and Stefan Noesen had another impressive outing.
