They also play an important role in increasing the enjoyment of life. They can be a social lubricant, promote relaxation, and can provide pharmacological pleasure. WWII was one of, if not the most brutal battle and with all of the soldiers, prisoners, and civilians who lost their lives, the possibility of the paranormal is not surprising. Reputedly, America’s first serial killer is Henry Howard Holmes, born as Herman Webster Mudgett in 1860, Holmes was intelligent, debonair, charming, funny, and a master of premeditated murder. He even built a “murder castle” at 63rd and Wallace in Englewood, Chicago, that contained gas vaults, multiple chambers with hidden chutes, and a basement filled with torture and surgical equipment.. Most of us believe that the idea of zombies should only be found in low budget classic horror films or on late night television.
