This week, we skate full speed into the boards, with a guy that we can't help but find entertaining, and a bit likable. He was a professional goon, fighting his way into the NHL, and hanging on for years with his tenacity. He had more fights than 5 average boxers, combined. He also liked to live on the edge, off the ice, where his drinking, and partying exploits are of are legendary proportions. This leads to terrible driving, among other problems, and lands him in jail, but he gets out in time to appear in several Hollywood fils, and tv shows. This week, we look at a man from a prominent, and respected sports family, who followed in his legendary grandfather's footsteps... For a while, anyway. He was always considered a kind, quiet guy, until mental illness started to take over. After a few years of psychotic incidents, such as believing that his sister was an ISIS clone, sent to destroy him, or that he is actually the offspring of Greek Gods. Not to mention, thinking was Jesus for a little while. Needless to say, this situation devolves into scariness, and murder! This is one interesting Australian!! This week, before we get to the Scummie Awards, we dodge an errant throw from a man who was bred for baseball. It was his dream, from the time he could remember, and he achieved that dream, despite his smaller stature. Although he was very successful, someone his brain just wouldn't let the good times roll, and it ruined his career, and sent a sportscaster's mother to the hospital. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be the last person he sent to the hospital, as his personal life started to crumble, and multiple marriages dissolved, resulting in court, violence, arrest, and humidifiers used as weapons. He fought his way out of nowhere to get the attention of the UFC, only to be kicked off a reality show for not following the rules. He would continue down that path, with drugs, alcohol, and sleeping in his trunk. He somehow got another chance, but blew it even bigger with a horrific act of violence! He's a fun one!
