Well the Executive Vice Presidents of AEW have finally spoken. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're the ones with ALLLL the stroke around here. And they seem willing to carry the real life heat they've garnered for indy influence they've flooded into AEW, and carry it into the storyline of Sting's final match. One week after the Bucks made a surprise appearance challenging Sting to face them in his retirement match, Rene Paquette hosts an interview.

The Young Bucks will look to put and end to Sting and, in effect, put an end to the old ways he "represents" in AEW.

Interesting worked shoot interview. Whether you're a fan of the Young Bucks, or one of the haters, everyone feels some kinda way about this.

Should the Young Bucks be Sting's final opponent?

Also, As Sting prepares for his retirement match at AEW Revolution, there is time for reflection.

Maybe a throw away comment for Sting, but mentioning that Darby Allin was his best tag team partner sparked a debate about Lex Luger and Sting?

For the main event... Samoa Joe had defeated long time champion MJF at the end of 2023 to kick off the the Samoa Jow era. His first opponent. Hook.

Recent controversy saw AEW owner Toni Khan criticising WWE booking Jinder Mahal for a title shot, which blew up in his face as critics think Hook is to inexperienced for the opportunity he's recieving in AEW. Although he sports an immaculate win-loss record, is he ready?

And to close our review of AEW Dynamite from January 17, 2024, our entire panel couldn't help but praise the performance of Timeless Toni Storm as she feuds with AEW newcomer, Deonna Purazzo.
