My experience with overcoming depression

My experience with overcoming depression

*TRIGGER WARNING* There are a lot left unsaid in this episode for the sake of wanting to move on from the part of my life where I felt the most depressed and suicidal. The strained relationships that I had during that time have improved for the better and I feel stronger now knowing that I overcame this. This is resilience and everyone has the potential to be resilient. Please keep in mind that not everyone has the same experiences, mentality, and beliefs so don't give up if what has been helpful to me is not helpful to you. If you or someone you know is experiencing depression or suicidal ideation here are some resources available that may help: livewell-foundation.org, 1(800)273-8255, suicidepreventionlifeline.org, My3 (app), please research mental health services in your area to find additional resources close to you.
