The most disturbingly horrifying and frightening tale you have ever heard, today we bring you the story of Peter Kürten: the Vampire of Düsseldorf.

It’s Vampire October and as Halloween approaches, we will be bringing you true tales of blood-drinking ghouls all month long.

Peter Kurten set the standard for what we know today as sexually-motivated serial killers, and his cruelty knew no bounds. He murdered with scissors, knives, hatchets, chisels and his own bare hands, attacking, women, men, children and animals in fits of literal vampiric blood lust.
