The Wound Is The Place Where The Light Enters You: Becoming Light A Conversation With Mommy

E m hetep (I come in peace). I am grateful to speak with and be in a place of transparency with my mother as she requested to have this mother, daughter talk in recognition of my traversing deeper into my womanhood. I recently celebrated my 36th solar return this month (REP YOUR SET VIRGOS!!). My mother and I speak often and have many heart to hearts in support of one another not only out of our relationship dynamic, but also as two women who continue to seek and strive towards living our bests in all the transitions of life. I am happy to share this vulnerable space and be on the receptive end as the woman that I continue to evolve into as my mother addresses moments of our history together that have been honorable as well as difficult.
