Episode 101 | Riley Fuller - Courage to Speak + Compassion to Listen

For the next four weeks, Jenny Nuccio and Riley Fuller will be diving deep into conversations about knowing who you are in God, sharing your story with others, the power of listening, and partnering alongside different cultures to create long-term change. Putting you in their shoes by sharing personal stories of doing good in this world. With the center of that good being fueled by the Holy Spirit you discover what happens when you listen first and act second.

Riley Fuller is the president and founder of The Humanity and Hope United Foundation, and Co-Founder at Generous Coffee. He is married to Naz and is a father to three kiddos. He likes to run, do yoga, and play soccer. His family spends a lot of his spare time hiking borth in the hills around Austin and in the mountains. Riley began H&H after visiting Honduras for the first time

In today's episode Jenny and Riley dive into the importance of knowing who you are and what you are created to do. God has created you for a unique purpose and you have the opportunity to share it with others. Once you understand who you are and your purpose you are able to go, and love others better. Our co-host has seen first hand the corrupt and broken culture that others live in and wanted to find a way to help.

Episode Spotlight

The Root Collective

The Root Collective partners with small, independent workshops in Guatemala City, Pastores, Antigua, and other small communities. Their mission is to humanize the fashion industry. They do that by reminding consumers that a real person with a real name makes the things we wear. Root Collective partners directly with small workshops in Guatemala with the goal of supporting these existing workshops, that are run by local business owners, through employment. The producers earn anywhere from 50-400% above the Fair Wage minimum in Guatemala, depending on their skill and job description.
