Episode 51: [Recap] Dementia in Nigeria - A conversation with Professor Adesola Ogunniyi

All episodes in the month of September will be dedicated to conversations about dementia. The aim of the series is to raise awareness of dementia and experiences of it across the world.

The third episode in our Dementia series is a discussion with Professor Adesola Ogunniyi a Clinician, Neurologist, Neuroepidemiologist and holding professional faculty position at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They discuss dementia and Alzheimer's Disease more specifically challenges which Nigerian families dealing with dementia are faced with.

  • Professor Ogunniyi is presenting at the IPDGC Neuroscience in Africa conference "Epigenetics and Dementia: Lessons From the 20-Year Indianapolis-Ibadan Dementia Study" on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 4:00 PM.
