The day after Christmas, 1996, Patsy Ramsey woke up early to get her family ready for a flight. On the staircase of her home, she found a 2.5 page ransom note informing her and her husband John that their daughter, 6-year-old JonBenét had been taken. It noted that if the family paid $118,000 in ransom, they would get her back.

However, this promise was an empty one, as JonBenét's body was discovered in the basement of the home that afternoon, despite multiple searches. Many believe that it was someone in the Ramsey family who killed JonBenét, but could it have been an intruder?
