She was born and grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to the UK in 1995, which is where she discovered and fell in love with wine. She has been writing about wine for two decades and has a distinction for the WSET diploma. She was the Fortnum & Mason Drinks Writer of the Year 2024 and is currently studying for a BSc Hons degree in Environmental Science.
