The Pandemic Is A Gift

This is one of the most important podcasts I have made. I have already felt the murmurings of disapproval from many people. Right now the world is divided, many who want lockdowns and vaccines, and many who are fighting against them. My perception is that both camps are the same energy, and the solution is in the middle. Whatever we fight against, we draw more of it to us. People are heavily invested in the battle, the fight, the idea of an enemy, they are distracted by the outside world, rather than working with the inner world.

Many of us have been seeking an awakening for years now, well, here it is, you're looking at it, but it's not how you think it is. This awakening for many of us is not about protesting in the streets or living in fear, or submitting, it's about integrating the pressure, it's the pressure that creates the diamond.

Alan Watts said "If you can't meditate in a boiler room, then you can't meditate." Well, you're in a boiler room and its only getting hotter, can you meditate? Are you able to be centred or are you getting lost in your fears and anger and the news? Spirituality bleeds into every aspect of life.

If we want to progress spiritually then we need tests, we need pressure. To get fit you must exercise, to develop yoga skills you must practise yoga, to develop presence you must meditate. You can't just switch off the work because you are angry or afraid or distracted by the news, the work goes on.
