Day #19 - The S.O. Stories.

Story #1.-. I was 19 and we had been seeing each other for 6 months and he calls and tells me he slept with someone else the night before (I lived a hour away). I broke up with him right away. Couple days later I'm thinking about it and I hadn't had a period in awhile so I take a pregnancy test and I'm pregnant. I tell him and he tells me he will take care of us and we are a team now and will do it together. My friends warned me that this is not the right guy, he's been flirting with most of my friends, but with a person can get matured attitude, I thought he'll be grown up now. So I forgive him, he told me right away and I'm young and freaked out. Four years later we get married. Years after that we have another kid. We buy a house in the suburbs, both work, go on dates, ride our bikes and we're just a perfect happy family. I trusted him completely. Took awhile but we had over done so much at a young age. 6 months ago he sits me down and admits that he had slept with over 10 different women this whole time. Story #2 -. I was 19 and casually seeing a girl. Then one day I found a lump in one of my testicles while I was taking a shower. Went to the doctor and it turned out that it was cancer and that they would have to remove it. Oh, and I would have to have at least 2 rounds of the most intensive chemo out there if I wanted to not die. There was also the very strong chance that I would be sterile for the rest of my life. Realizing that this was something that I might not survive I ended things and dropped off the face of the planet for the girl I was seeing, as I didn't want to end up being the dead boyfriend. She found out what was going on though and basically insisted that she be with me through it all. She came to every single 8-10 hour chemo session and helped me through recovery. Fast forward 6 years and we are happily married with 2 kids and our 3rd on the way.
