In this episode, I chat with Lynn Painter’s wild ride of romance writing, exploring both young adult and adult genres. I discuss recent releases, including the adult rom-com "The Love Wager" and the young adult spin on "When Harry Met Sally," titled "Betting on You. " I also talk about the importance of friendship in developing romantic relationships and the balance between writing and editing different books simultaneously. Set in the unique location of Omaha, Nebraska, these stories provide a much-needed escape and comfort for readers who enjoy heartwarming and entertaining romances. Additionally, I delve into the importance of setting in novels, using Omaha as a backdrop for character-driven stories and the misconceptions people have about unfamiliar cities. Lynn also shares book recommendations, focusing on Stephen King's non-horror novel, "Billy Summers"
