Maple Leafs Trounce Stars 5-3: 7th Straight Win at AAC | Oettinger's Rough Start, Steel Shines!

On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey Erickson breaks down the Dallas Stars 5-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center. Despite the Stars outshooting the Leafs 39-19, the Stars were unable to score on the majority of their chances against Joseph Woll who was fantastic in net for Toronto. The Stars best line consisted of Sam Steel, Oscar Back and Colin Blackwell who all tallied a point in the game. Jake Oettinger suffered a terrible start on his birthday, but Joey tries to put his start in context after a busy few weeks. The Stars are also shorthanded due to the flu that knocked out Thomas Harley and Nils Lundkvist and Dallas does not have valuable answers without them.
