Old School Forensics – 1988 Murder of Michaela Garecht Solved by a Palm Print

This week Steve and Hannah talk about the 32-year-old cold case solved by the dogged pursue of identifying whose partial palm print was on the scooter of a missing 9-year-old girl. Michaela Garecht was kidnapped while out at the local corner store with her friend. Her body was never recovered but police and prosecutors feel strong that after identifying the owner of the palm print, he murdered her.
