“Are you ready for a Rum Punch?” | Discover Barbados with The Sandpiper

The Sandpiper has been a fixture of the luxury hospitality scene in Barbados for over fifty years, and is one of our Inspiring Travel favourites! So, for this episode, we visited this beautiful spot to meet some of the people who make this resort so special.

General Manager, Ken, has been leading the team at The Sandpiper for the past few years, and shares his experience joining this family-run resort, along with some of his favourite features of the hotel. Personal Concierge, Wyatt, has become a familiar face with the guests at The Sandpiper, and, alongside looking after the top suites at the hotel he has created something very special for guests to experience. Finally we sat down with Harold; the creator and iconic face of Harold’s Bar, and the maker of (apparently) the best rum punch in Barbados.
