The First College Cannabis Certificate Program In The U.S.

The First College Cannabis Certificate Program In The U.S. with Jack Miller, CEO at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Accredited institution Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), a leader in integrative healthcare education, is now offering the first 8-credit, college-level Medical Cannabis Certificate for Healthcare Professionals. This fully online certificate is based on the guidelines put forth by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) in order to bring academic rigor and accountability to medical cannabis education. Classes will begin on September 3rd, 2019, with registration now open.
These medical cannabis courses are designed to produce healthcare professionals who can educate and coach patients on the therapeutic benefits of the medicine, potential adverse effects or drug interactions, dosing and self-titration approaches, and the safe and effective use of cannabis while promoting overall health and well-being through the upregulation of the human endocannabinoid system.
