Episode 2: Concerning Conservation

What do you think of when you hear the word “conservation?” In this episode, we’re joined by Annika Rose-Person, a PhD candidate in the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology at UCR and Anisha Gupta, a PhD student in the Department of Art Conservation at the University of Delaware. Together, we’ll explore what conservation means in the worlds of biology and art as well as how society has shaped practices and what’s in store for the future of conservation in these fields.
